Today, I just finalized everything in the timeline and saved all the cropped images as PNG file. Unfortunately, Sir John forgot again the installer but he said that he will bring it this afternoon.

Afternoon came. As promised Sir John brought the installer. I copied the installer in my laptop and run it. However, the installer keeps on showing an error that says it can’t be installed. I sought the help of Sir John and he did everything to install the Adobe Flash but it didn’t worked. At the end he told me that he will be just the one to edit it.

I finished the timeline late in the morning and I have it checked by Sir John and he said that it’s cute…I was a little bit nervous during that time but when I saw and felt that he liked my work I it was replaced by happiness. However, when I let Sir Earl check it, he told me to edit some of the pictures and suggested to edit it to Adobe Flash so it would be more attractive. Overall he said that he liked my work but I should work on his suggestions. During the afternoon I started reediting the timeline.

Sir John suggested to me crop every frame of the timeline so it can be played as a slide show and so I obeyed him. Then I edited little modification on the timeline I asked Sir John if he has the Adobe Flash installer, unfortunately he forgot his external hard drive but he said that he will bring it on Friday since it’s a holiday tomorrow.

This Tuesday I continued editing the scanned photos as well as the timeline.I was a little bit pressured when Sir John asked for it but he said that I can continue doing it. I’m still happy because at least during this day the timeline is about to be finished and I’m hoping that I can already finish it already tomorrow.

I arrived early today at 7:37 AM. All the offices at the second floor were still closed so I waited along the hallway. A few minutes later, the janitress arrived and she opened the office. Then I attended the flag ceremony. Afterwards I went back to the office and continued doing the BU Timeline. As I was editing the pictures, I realized that all the pictures were taken recently and what I needed in the timeline mostly were old pictures. I ask for help to Sir Earl on where I can get those photos and he gave me a book entitled Bicol University @ 40. There were a lot of old pictures of BU there, specially the original buildings and black and white photos of the different colleges. What I did next was to scan the pages that contains the photos that I needed. Afterwards, I edited the scanned photos and put them on the timeline.

It’s the fifteenth, a Friday and the month is almost over. I came early to the office today and as expected my office mates were not yet around because it’s Friday. I was expecting that Sir Earl will give me the pictures that I needed in the morning but he told me that he will give it to me later in the afternoon. Upon receiving the pictures, I chose the pictures that can be used in the timeline and edited them one by one. Yes, it’s hard because I’m a beginner in Photoshop and working alone on the timeline but somehow I enjoyed it. Since Sir Earl gave me the picture at around 3 PM in the afternoon, I wasn’t able to finish editing the pictures.

This morning I just continued doing the timeline. When Sir Earl came, Then I also browsed the beta version of the website and noticed that there are some paragraphs on the different colleges that are not justified so I edited and updated them.  When Sir Earl came to the office this afternoon I ask for some photos that can be used for the timeline and he told me to give him a list of the pictures that will be used in the timeline and so I did. He told me that he’ll give the pictures tomorrow.

This morning I attended a seminar so I didn’t go to the office. But Sir Earl tasked me to take photos from the seminar since he cannot come because he is busy. During the seminar I took some pictures but most of them are blurred and only a few were “good”.I returned to the office in the afternoon and continued making the BU timeline. Then Sir Earl came and he told me to go to Ma’am Renelyn. Ma’am Renelyn instructed me to download some files from her e-mail then I went back to work. Afterwards, I went back to the office and continued editing the timeline.

This Tuesday, I continued again making the BU timeline. In the afternoon, I was surprised to see a brand new laptop on the desk then I saw a note which says that Sir John should install it an antivirus, written by Ma'am Renelyn. When Sir John came, he opened the laptop and started inspecting it. Then he told me to back-up the files on Ma'am renelyn's old laptop to his external hard drive. It took me almost 2 hours in copying the files but ma'am Renelyn came and she borrowed the laptop because she will encode something. With nothing left to do, I ate the merienda given by Ma'am Maureen.

Today’s Mama Mary’s birthday and at the same time was the feast day of Daraga town but we have office work today. It was 9:30 when brown –out came and unfortunately my laptop is already lowbat. The electricity went back but was lost again.

At around 11 AM electric supply resumed so I continued making the BU timeline. I continued designing in the afternoon but some pictures that I need is from Sir Earl and he is on leave so I just folded brochures and tamper again the typographical errors on them.
Thursday, September 7, 2017

Today I looked for pictures to be included in the BU timeline from the different files submitted by the colleges. It’s disappointing that some colleges did not submit any picture so it’s a hassle in my part. What I did was to look for logos from the old website and download them and edit them. It’s good that the internet connection was fast so I was able to download the logos. Then I continued designing the timeline. I was sleepy in the afternoon it’s good that Sir Earl and Ma’am Jonai was in the office so we talked about random things J
Wednesday, September 6, 2017

With the shared ideas of Sir Earl yesterday, I had a clearer perception of my design for the BU timeline. Throughout this day, I work on the design. Sometimes I feel tired because of prolonged exposure to the screen. I also encoded my blog for the preview days.
Tuesday, September 5, 2017

I continued making the timeline of BU today. I find it hard to make a concept about the design and how to start the design itself. Fortunately, Sir Earl gave me an idea and he also taught me some tips. Sir Earl also gave me a link of a website that specializes in photoshop. He told me to visit the site and get some idea. I spent the last 30 minutes of the afternoon by folding brochures.
Monday, September 4, 2017

This Monday,I was tasked to make a timeline of Bicol University. I gathered data from the files submitted by the different colleges and take note the dates and significant events that happened in the last 48 years of BU. To be honest I was pressured since it will be included in the coffee table book but I know in myself that I can do it. It was late in the afternoon when I started conceptualizing the design so I went home with an unfinished work.

It’s the last day of the month! But there are lots of things to do. This time, Rhea was the one who is updating the old website. She continued what she was doing the other day. At around 10 AM Sir John tasked us to update the beta version of the website. Then there was a short brown-out. When electric supply resumed, we continue working. Rhea and I continued updating till the afternoon.
Wednesday, August 30, 2017

It’s Wednesday! Rhea didn’t come to the office this morning so I was alone updating the website. I was about to finish updating the webpage of Tabaco Campus when brown-out came so my work was interrupted again. The internet connection was slow and I cannot resume the updating of the website so I just folded brochures and tamper the typographical error on them. The last hour of the afternoon was spent by encoding what I did today and surfing the internet.
Tuesday, August 29, 2017

To start the week, I came early to attend the flag ceremony. When Rhea and I came back to the office, we continued updating the BU website in the morning. Unfortunately, in the afternoon the internet connection was unstable so instead of doing nothing, we folded university brochures. Sir Joshua came to the office to seek help regarding his flashdrive that contains hidden files. With the help of my classmates on the other office, the flashdrive was scanned then the hidden files were retrieved. Sir Joshua thanked me. It just feels so great when you help other people without asking for return. That’s all for today!
Friday, August 25, 2017

It’s the last day of the week! This Friday, we continued updating the website. This time I was the one updating the website. I modified minor modifications like adjusting the margin of paragraphs, changing the font sizes, changing the spaces in each paragraphs and at the same time updating other pages. I also helped our co-officemate, Ma’am Jonairah, to search and download calling card templates from the internet. Later when Sir Earl came, he said that there was already a customized template for the office but then Ma’am Jonairah thanked me for helping her and I’m still grateful because I helped her although there is a template already.
Tuesday, August 22, 2017

This day, I continued editing the templates that Sir Earl told me to reedit. Then, in the afternoon after going home,I finalized everything then I gave to him the finished infographics  that I made throughout the previous days.

Rhea and I continued updating the website today. We had a short break afterwards and then were told to update and edit the other colleges also since there were minor modifications. However, because of slow internet connection, we weren’t able to finish updating the website.
Thursday,August 17, 2017

I was very early this morning! I came at 7:33 AM so I started also started early my work. I continued updating the website the whole day with Rhea. Sir John gave us some files that was submitted recently  by some campuses. I updated the GUBAT and Polangui Campus. I modified the old history of the GUBAT Campus while I converted into a list the faculty of Polangui Campus since it is in excel. Afterwards in the afternoon,Rhea did the updating.
Friday, August 18, 2017

This Thursday I continued editing the inforgraphics for the BU Scholarship grantees with school year 2017-2018 (2nd semester). I changed the pie chart and its colors as well as the other content of the graph such as the fontsize since it can't be read when its already an image file. I'm happy because somehow even though I'm re-editing my works I'm learning.
Wednesday,August 16, 2017

This Wednesday, Sir John told me to update some campus pages in the old website during the morning. I uploaded also some pictures for the gallery of some campuses.I also navigated some pages of the website and found out that there are some links that are not functioning. I told Sir John about it and he said that it will be fixed soon.

Tuesday, August 15, 2017

This Tuesday, I changed the pie graph that Rhea made for the scholarship data because some areas of the design are “messy” to see. I also put the legends and percentage details of the pie graph. I reviewed some details about the pie graph and changed the colors of its parts. Then when I finished,I folded brochures again and tamper the typographical error.

Friday, September 22, 2017 Today, I just finalized everything in the timeline and saved all the cropped images as PNG file. Unfortunate...
